I received my Bachelors of Science in Nursing degree, and a Masters of Arts in Counseling degree with a focus in Marriage and Family Therapy. Before becoming a Counselor, I served as a Registered Nurse in the Washington DC Metropolitan area schools and hospitals prior to becoming a Nurse Manager at a national nursing association.
I am a Nationally Board Certified Counselor, am Board Certified in Christian Counseling, and am a Board Certified-TeleMental Health Provider.
I am dually licensed as a Clinical Professional Counselor (LC14727) and a Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Maryland (LCM972). I am also licensed in the District of Columbia as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT200001312). I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples and individuals, am certified as a Prepare/Enrich facilitator and a Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts (SYMBIS) facilitator for pre-married and married couples, and have received an Advanced Certificate in Christian Life Coaching.
